About the Artist
Tony Tatum built his career from the inside of R&B performance, first gaining national touring experience as a background vocalist for Keith Sweat from 2005 through 2011. After relocating from Saginaw, Michigan, to Atlanta, he continued developing as a singer, producer, bandleader, and entertainment entrepreneur, eventually creating the Tony Tatum Experience as a platform for polished live tributes and full-scale soul productions.
Tatum's strength is his understanding of the songs audiences already love—the vocal stacks, dramatic bridges, quiet-storm pacing, and rhythmic details that made several generations of R&B memorable. Through Tatum Executive Group and his stage productions, he has turned that knowledge into shows that celebrate the catalog while giving the singers and band room to bring their own personality to it.
