Grammy Award Winning Trumpeter, Vocalist & Composer Keyon Harrold
Keyon Harrold is a trumpeter, vocalist, composer, and producer from Ferguson, Missouri, whose work connects jazz improvisation with hip-hop, R&B, soul, and urgent contemporary storytelling. After studying at the New School in New York, he became a trusted collaborator for artists including Common, Jay-Z, Erykah Badu, Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Maxwell, while developing a trumpet sound that is bold, vocal, and immediately identifiable.
Harrold supplied the trumpet voice for Don Cheadle's portrayal of Miles Davis in Miles Ahead and contributed to the film's Grammy-winning soundtrack. His solo albums—including Introducing Keyon Harrold, The Mugician, and the Grammy-nominated Foreverland—present him as a complete artist, combining instrumental virtuosity with vocals, production, social reflection, and cinematic composition.
